A recorded lecture becomes far more useful as text: you can search for the moment a concept was introduced, jump to it, and copy the exact wording into notes.

Technical vocabulary is where transcripts stumble most. The editor makes corrections quick, and checkpoints let you keep a clean version once you have reviewed it.

Frequently asked questions

Can it produce an outline?

Chapters split the lecture at pauses and frequent terms point to key concepts, each with a timestamp. Rename chapters and add your own notes to build a study outline; quizzes are not generated.

What about equations and symbols?

Spoken mathematics is transcribed as words; notation is not reconstructed.

Does it handle lecture halls?

Distant microphones and echo reduce accuracy. A lapel or podium microphone recording gives much better results.
